This week's episode features the audio from a session at the 2019 Charleston Library Conference titled “Long Arm of the Law.” This session was presented by the late Bill Hannay, Attorney at Law, and moderated by Ann Okerson, Senior Advisor, Center for Research Libraries.
Bill was such an integral part of the Conference with this popular session that he led every year before his untimely passing in the Fall of 2020. In this presentation, he talks about“The right to be forgotten,” privacy laws, and a copyright lawsuit involving a rubber duck.
